The Retreat

Reviving Grandeur with Bold, Bespoke Design.

Mr. P. and Ms. S. came to us with a mansion house in North London that had been left neglected for two decades. Over the years, several rooms had simply become dumping grounds, stripping the home of its original charm and purpose. Ms. S. especially felt frustrated by the kitchen - although spacious, its design made it difficult to have a large island or a true pantry, missing the mark for her needs which is cooking and entertaining for big family gatherings. We approached this project with clarity and empathy, determined to revive every corner of the house. The kitchen was completely redesigned, introducing a stunning central island and a dedicated pantry space, bringing both style and practicality to daily life. Special care was devoted to the drawing room, making it a versatile haven: now, Ms. S. can enjoy afternoon tea with friends in comfort, while Mr. P. has the perfect spot to watch football with his mates. The transformation is remarkable. Where once there was wasted space and tired decor, there is now a house that truly feels like home: chic, practical, and rich with the personalities of its owners. Every room serves a purpose, welcoming the family and their guests with style and confidence.
