Maximising Value Through Bold Design.
Mr. M., a discerning private landlord, saw an untapped opportunity: the lack of truly stylish rental properties for affluent diplomats in Mayfair. His brief was ambitious: to preserve the period elegance of two Georgian buildings while reimagining them with a modern, chic aesthetic that resonates with today’s cosmopolitan elite.
Our design approach was both bold and clever. Rather than simply renovating, we orchestrated an innovative space plan, merging the two buildings horizontally. This strategic move allowed us to craft expansive, light-filled apartments with generous social spaces, rather than dividing them into smaller units across multiple floors. Throughout, we preserved charming Georgian details, contrasting them with refined contemporary materials and clean lines to achieve an elevated, harmonious blend of heritage and modernity. The transformation yielded five exclusive residences, each an accomplished expression of elegance and innovation. The market responded with enthusiasm: Mr. M. far exceeded the area’s rental comparables, attracting high-profile tenants and igniting a prolific property development expansion. Georgian Twins stands as a testament to visionary planning and design, raising the bar for luxury rental living in London’s most sought-after neighbourhood.
